The
Children’s Home Foundation was officially created in
November, 2000 to be the external arm of influence to
ensure Children’s Home is the number one children’s entity
in
Illinois
. Children’s Home
Foundation, believes philanthropy is not merely about
money-raising or money-giving; rather, it is a dignified
process based on marketing principles and exchange of
values. Philanthropy includes advocacy, volunteerism, and
fund development. The Foundation expresses the mission in
ways that invite funders to participate in programs that
mirror their values, preserve their interests and meet
their need for recognition, belonging, and a feeling of
making a difference.
