The Gaelic Gallop Jack Kenny 5K Run/Walk is an annual event held by the St. Patrick Society of Peoria at Glen Oak Park. To date, this event has raised over $12,250 for our children and families. This year's race will be held March 6, 2016. Details can be found at


The Kappa Delta Shamrock Week at Bradley University raises funds to benefit Children's Home and Child Abuse America. The events culminated in a 5K run/1 mile walk scheduled Saturday, March 5, 2016. For more details, go to


Dodge Brawl Dodge, dip, jump and dive! No one can forget the schoolyard game of dodge ball that we all played as a kid. Well now it’s back! Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Peoria Civic Center.   ---Click here to visit the Dodge Brawl Website!---

Dodge Brawl is a co-ed, dodge ball tournament benefiting the Children’s Home Association of Central Illinois. Every team is guaranteed 3 games with the new round robin tournament format starting at 10am. The Sweet 16 qualifiers will begin single elimination games after pool play has concluded. Dodge Brawl is open to the public and free for spectators so come out and cheer on your favorite team!


The Maui Jim / Children’s Home Charity Golf Classic is an annual event held every summer at the Country Club of Peoria. The event includes breakfast, instructional clinics led by Senior PGA Tour Pros, a long-drive exhibition, 18 holes of golf with a “Fairway Buffet” of food and beverages on the course, a $1 million hole-in-one, cigar roller, magician, massages and an after-golf Hawaiian luau complete with food, entertainment, live auction and awards. Play follows a golf shamble format and the field is limited to 27 foursomes to promote fast play. To date, the Golf Outing has raised more than $3.5 million for our children and families. This year's event will be held August 21-22, 2016.


Keepsacks for Kids is a volunteer-driven project held each fall that provides hand-made blankets and personal tote bags to the children and families in our community who are in need of extra support and comfort during the winter months. For more information, contact Natalie Salawage at
