Internships
Children’s Home has a strong history of working with universities to place interns into appropriate positions in order to give them the greatest opportunity to fulfill their field placement requirements. There are internship opportunities available in four areas of the agency: Live-In Care; Education; Family Services; and Community Affairs.
We have a continuum of care ranging from in-home intervention to residential treatment. Interns would have the ability to gain experience in many of these areas. Such areas include: Assessment, Case Management, Family and Individual Counseling, Crisis Intervention, Family Violence, Support Groups, Networking, and much more. Interns would also be eligible to participate in any of our agency-sponsored training opportunities while they are interning at the agency.
Students interested in obtaining an internship (unpaid) should submit an updated resumé along with a cover letter. This letter should include the following:
- The school requirements for the internship
- The type of supervision that would be required
- The number of hours required for the internship
We have openings for interns in the following programs. Click on each heading to see specific information. To apply (as well as submitting the cover letter and resumé), click the “Apply Now” link that corresponds to the internship you desire.
