ADOPTION POLICIES 

POLICY ON RELEASE OF NON-IDENTIFYING

 INFORMATION IN ADOPTION CASES 

In every adoption case facilitated by our Adoption Program, any non-identifying information that is within our knowledge, regarding the prospective adoptee, and the child’s birth parents, including social and medical history, shall be provided to the adoptive parents. 

Subsequent to the adoption, in the case of a medical or other urgent need, non-identifying information shall be provided immediately. 

Routine requests for information by an adoptee who has reached legal majority or by the adoptive parents of a minor shall be responded to promptly, when not prohibited by law.
