POLICY ON SEARCHES 

Any request made to the Children’s Home Association for an adoption search is referred to the Midwest Adoption Center.  The Midwest Adoption Center has been contracted by the Department of Children and Family Services to provide post-adoption search and reunion services for children who had been under the Department’s legal responsibility prior to their adoption.
