MARKLEY AND BONES CHRISTMAS AUCTION A SUCCESS

Peoria, IL-Children's Home is pleased to announce that the 1st Annual Markley and Bones Christmas Auction for Children's Home was a huge success raising $7,180 for the agency.

During the week of December 9-13, listeners of the ROCK 105.7 Markley and Bones Morning Show had the opportunity to bid on numerous items ranging from rock memorabilia to season tickets to the Peoria Chiefs. Items were auctioned off to the highest bidder. The item that garnered the highest bid was an autographed Sammy Hagar guitar, which was sold for $3,000.

All money raised during the auction will be used to purchase gifts for the children and families who receive services from Children's Home. Each year, Children's Home allows members of the community to brighten the holidays for children and families by purchasing gifts for them. Prior to the auction, over 75 children and families were without holiday gifts.

Children's Home thanks the entire ROCK 105.7 staff and all who participated in the auction for brightening the holidays for our children and families.
