13th ANNUAL JACK KENNY 5K RUN/WALK

Peoria, IL-The St. Patrick’s Society of Peoria is gearing up for the 13th Annual Jack Kenny 5K Run/Walk, which will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2004 at Glen Oak Park in Peoria.

The event benefits the Children’s Home Association of Illinois and is sponsored by the St. Patrick’s Society of Peoria. To date, it has raised just under $8000 for the agency.

The race is open to the public and registration forms as well as the entry fee should be sent to the St. Patrick’s Society of Peoria. The entry fee is $18 and includes a race cap for the first 100 participants. If participants would prefer to not have a race cap, entry fee is just $14.00. Awards, which will be given to the top overall male and female as well as to participants in various age groups, will be presented immediately following the race. Participants are also welcome to attend a post-race party at Katie McButts, located at 2440 N. Knoxville Avenue in Peoria.
