The 5th Annual Maui Jim/Children's Home Charity Golf Classic was held July 12, 2004 at the Country Club of Peoria. Professional golfers Dave Stockton, Craig "The Walrus" Stadler, 2002 PGA Rookie of the Year Morris Hatalsky, PGA's 2003 Comeback Player of the Year Don Pooley, and golf funnyman and trickshow phenomenon Jay Golden were on hand at the event which featured golf clinics led by the professionals, a golf scramble competition, a Hawaiian luau and live auction. Auction items included a trip to Las Vegas for four, a golf/spa retreat in Bonita Springs, Florida and a Royal Caribbean cruise. There was also a million dollar hole-in-one prize sponsored by RLI Corporation. This year's outing was a phenomenal success, raising $225,000 for the Children's Home!
