NON-PROFIT AGENCY BOASTS LOW TURNOVER RATE

Peoria, IL – The Children’s Home Association of Illinois is pleased to report the lowest employee turnover rate since the agency began tracking this data six years ago.

            For the fiscal year ending June 30, the Children’s Home saw a turnover rate of just 17% as compared to 20.25% last fiscal year!  While employee retention is important for all businesses, it is critical at the Children’s Home because building trust with a child is dependent on consistency and stability.  Within an industry in which two-thirds of similar agencies report a turnover rate higher than 20% and some as high as 50% or 60%, the Children’s Home is extremely proud of the 400 employees who dedicate their lives to giving children a childhood and future.
