MISS ILLINOIS SCHEDULED TO SPEAK AT CHILDREN’S HOME

Who: Miss Illinois 2002, Erika Harold, and the staff and children of Children’s Home.

What: Miss Illinois 2002 will be making a special appearance at Children’s Home to talk with the staff and children about youth violence prevention and youth sexual abstinence.

When: Wednesday, August 14, 2002 from 10-11 a.m.

Why: Miss Illinois is launching a state-wide speaking tour focusing on her platform against youth violence. She is making a special appearance at Children’s Home to speak with some of the at-risk youth about this important issue in today’s society.

**Children and staff from Children’s Home as well as Miss Illinois will be available to speak to the media before and after the presentation.**
