Internships

Children's Home has a strong history of working with universities to place interns into appropriate positions in order to give them the greatest opportunity to fulfill their field placement requirements.

We have a continuum of care ranging from in-home intervention to residential treatment. Interns would have the ability to gain experience in many of these areas. Such areas include: Assessment, Case Management, Family and Individual Counseling, Crisis Intervention, Family Violence, Support Groups, Networking, and many more. Interns would also be eligible to participate in any of our agency-sponsored training opportunities while they are interning at the Children's Home.

Students interested in obtaining a position should submit an online application for an internship. Applicants should also attach an updated resumé and a letter providing information about the student's internship requirements. This letter should include the following:

  • The school requirements for the internship
  • The type of supervision that would be required
  • The number of hours required for the internship
  • The student's program of study
  • Start and end dates for the internship
