Continued Education Trainings

Children's Home provides frequent training opportunities which are open to any professionals seeking continuing education. The agency strives to develop quality training programs presented by respected and recognized speakers. Although some cost is generally associated with each workshop for those who are not employees of Children's Home, the agency is frequently able to keep costs to a minimum.

Children's Home is licensed by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation to provide Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for multiple license classes. Upcoming training sessions are listed below. If none are listed, check back often to view our most current offerings. Speakers: Dr. Bryan Robinson, Monica Parker, Fritzie Fritzshall, Michelle Sullivan & Dr. Joy Miller
We are partnering with Joy Miller & Associates in providing CEUs for this one-day workshop focusing on characteristics, strategies, techniques and methodology for professionals who want to enhance their clinical skills related to resiliency.
When: Tuesday, September 10th
Where: Trailside Events Center (recently changed, so does not show up on website yet) CEUs: 6 CEUs for LPC/LCPC, LSW/LCSW, LMFT & OT (waiting on DHS approval for LCP, RN, LPN & APN)
